  • The initial series of treatments lasts 6 weeks, with one session per week. Some people find that occasional maintenance treatments help keep them feeling their best.

  • You’ll feel a difference after the first treatment. Results vary from person to person, but if you feel a difference at all, we know it’s the right treatment and it’s working on the tissues.

  • Neck and shoulder pain are the most common complaints from our patients and what we treat most. However, Shockwave can be used on almost any part of the body from an achilles tendon to the lower spine.

  • Some people find that an occasional maintenance treatment keeps them pain-free. Every injury and body is different, so we can assess the need for maintenance after your initial 6 treatments. Many patients never need to come back!
